Description
Blockprint was a student newspaper published throughout the 1950s-60s. The April 2, 1968 issue features articles on the "March of Humanity" mural in Mexico City, a faculty statement supporting students who protest the Vietnam war, the Peace Corps and draft deferments, a new music group "The Rotary Connection," a photography exhibit sponsored by the Camera Club of Providence College, a "Yip-In" demonstration by Alan Ginsberg at Grand Central Station gone awry, a Dada and surrealism exhibit at MoMA, and the Student-Faculty committee, along with other opinion pieces, editorials, and creative writing.
