Description
Blockprint was a student newspaper published throughout the 1950s-60s. The April 8, 1968 issue features articles on a lack of interest in student councils, a pottery and glass exhibition of RISD grad students at the Abacus Gallery, a new album by jazz musician Charles Lloyd, a meeting of the RISD Committee to End the War in Vietnam, an interfaith conversation in Homer Lounge, a trip to the Experiments in Art and Technology (E.A.T.) headquarters in Greenwich Village, a forum on aggression, an anti-Vietnam war protest in Boston, President Lyndon B. Johnson's about face on Vietnam, an alumni seminar, and a meeting of the Students for Conscientious Citizenship, along with other opinion pieces, editorials, and creative writing.
