Description
RISD press was a student newspaper published weekly in the early 1970s, a self-described attempt at consolidating all the information outlets of the school, including the previous student newspaper, Montage. The issue of April 14, 1978 includes articles on tuition increases at RISD, a study to assess how space is used on campus, a dinner party with Lawrence Ferlinghetti, an upcoming poetry reading by W.D. Snodgrass, a Student Board meeting, an internship opportunity with Trinity Repertory Theatre, the Philips Lead Building [the Bayard Ewing Building], Architecture students, softball and sailing updates, along with a comic by Art Wood, the return of the "Steven" comic by Doug Allen, event notices, and other announcements.
