Description
RISD press was a student newspaper published weekly in the early 1970s, a self-described attempt at consolidating all the information outlets of the school, including the previous student newspaper, Montage. The issue of March 24, 1978 includes articles on an upcoming poetry reading by Alan Dugan, problems in the Illustration department, the new RISD program in Santa Fe, changes in the Architecture department, a slideshow of a Wintersession course in Sicily, a Student Board meeting, a lecture by sculptor Jackie Winsor, a RISD Museum exhibition curated by Aaron Siskind called "SPACES," and Bauhaus and community in the arts, along with comics by Art Wood and Amy Lubow, event notices, and other announcements.
