Description
RISD press was a student newspaper published weekly in the early 1970s, a self-described attempt at consolidating all the information outlets of the school, including the previous student newspaper, Montage. The issue of March 17, 1978 includes articles on Architecture department faculty changes, an initiative to assess how space is utilized on campus, an act of vandalism, a new RISD satellite program at St. John's College in Santa Fe, a lecture by RISD grad Neke Carson, a Student Board meeting, an exhibition by RISD faculty John Udvardy, and space complaints from the Illustration department, along with a comic by Art Wood, event notices, and other announcements.
