Description
RISD press was a student newspaper published weekly in the early 1970s, a self-described attempt at consolidating all the information outlets of the school, including the previous student newspaper, Montage. The issue of February 24, 1978 includes articles on a student convocation with an address by RISD President Lee Hall, a report detailing recommended improvements at RISD, a Student Board meeting, a lecture by Freshman Foundation Professor Irving Haynes, Market Square, a visit to Radio City Music Hall, a proposed student-made bronze sculpture for the Metcalf Building, and the Nads, along with a comic by Art Wood and event notices and other announcements.
