Description
RISD press was a student newspaper published weekly in the early 1970s, a self-described attempt at consolidating all the information outlets of the school, including the previous student newspaper, Montage. The issue of January 20, 1978 includes articles on new staff at RISD Press, exhibits at Woods-Gerry, a Student Board meeting, faculty evaluations, a proposal for a new outdoor Student Union, an exhibition of Professor John Udvardy's work at Hera Gallery, the first President's Fellows Awards Dinner in New York City, the Yearbook Event, an Illustration Club exhibition, a Hallmark grant, and politics in Italy, along with event notices and other announcements.
