Description
RISD press was a student newspaper published weekly in the early 1970s, a self-described attempt at consolidating all the information outlets of the school, including the previous student newspaper, Montage. The issue of December 2, 1977 includes articles on course evaluations, a Student Board meeting, updates from the Film Department, a series of exhibitions at Woods-Gerry, fashion at RISD, an upcoming career seminar, an upcoming architecture lecture by Leon Krier, an exhibition of Cuban graphic arts in Italy, the punk rock and new wave scene, and RISD yearbooks, along with a book review of Jenny Holzer's book "Diagrams," Doug Allen's comic "Shorty the Artist Kitty," event notices, and other announcements.
