Description
RISD press was a student newspaper published weekly in the early 1970s, a self-described attempt at consolidating all the information outlets of the school, including the previous student newspaper, Montage. The issue of November 4, 1977 includes articles on course evaluations form design, the Student Board, the Nads, capitalist art, Halloween costumes, an upcoming lecture by National Geographic photographer Steve Raymer, and uplcoming lecture on California architecture by Esther McCoy, and an upcoming exhibition of Illustration and Ceramics student work, along with the comic "The History of Fine Fashion" by "Golly, Smith & Golly" [Doug Allen?], event notices, and other announcements .
