Description
RISD press was a student newspaper published weekly in the early 1970s, a self-described attempt at consolidating all the information outlets of the school, including the previous student newspaper, Montage. The issue of May 13, 1977 is a special issue focusing on major problems at RISD. It includes articles on a three-hour long faculty meeting that ultimately resulted in a vote of no confidence against RISD President Lee Hall, a Student Board attempt to develop a course evaluation form, an interview with special consultant Jana Mathews on RISD's problems, and excerpts from the no-confidence vote.
