Description
RISD Voice was a long-running student newspaper that ran through the 1980s. This issue, dated January 18, 1989, includes articles on Martin Luther King Jr., art world updates, changes in spring registration, a new co-op art gallery founded by RISD students and alumni called Moxie Logic, a new Act in Rhode Island mandating AIDS testing of certain segments of the population, the dangers of working with certain materials in non-ventilated spaces, using gouache, RISD meal plans, and life outside of RISD, along with editorials, comics, notices, and advertisements.
