The Department of Architecture has a long history of bringing lecturers to RISD, sometimes in conjunction with the Departments of Landscape Architecture and Interior Architecture. This collection represents those fall and spring lectures, 1994-2007, known to have been recorded and transferred to the Archives. Held in the Bayard Ewing Building, the lectures feature primarily architects and landscape architects. The quality of the recordings is, for the most part, good with occasional lighting and sound issues. The lectures include slide shows illustrating projects designed or built by the lecturer.
This digital preservation project was made possible in part by a Libraries of Rhode Island (LORI) grant from the RI Office of Library & Information Services using funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
