On was an interdisciplinary graduate periodical established by RISD graduate students in 2006. It featured essays and student work that related to a general issue theme. On was intended as a quarterly publication, but it is unclear if further issues beyond the first were ever published.

Title from title sheet, above attached, folded pictorial banner by Ruben Toledo "Summer 1991"--Portfolio Loose sheets of photographs, prints, prose, and poetry, all printed on papers of varying color and texture, laid in a paper portfolio tied with black thread "Visionaire / by Stephen Gan, James Kaliardos, Cecilia Dean, Elaine Gan ... Thanks to ... Gregory Foley"--Page [1] Contributor list: Adeline André, Bill Cuningham, Bruce Weber, David McDonough, Dovanna Pagowska, Gregory Park, James White, José Arman-Pita, Josef Astor, Juan Botas, Karl Holmqvist, Kenny Scharf, Mats Gustafson, Michael Capotosto, Ruben Toledo, Ruven Afanador, Serge Lutens, Todd Oldham, Cecilia Dean, Stephen Gan Portfolio is a sheet (23 x 87 cm.) folded into three panels, each 23 x 30 cm
"2 TRAVEL can be seen as a cross between National Geographic, a children's book (The Little Prince comes to mind), and a fashion magazine. Studying Mats Gustafson's Istanbul watercolors and Juan Botas's Spanish bullfight, we were reminded how one can find the romance of a faraway land, mythical or real, so alluring. Mats Gustafson, Bruce Weber, Kenny Scharf, Serge Lutens, and Todd Oldham appear in Visionaire for the very first time. The designer Isabel Toledo (who is also the wife of contributor Ruben Toledo) insisted on tying up each individual issue with black thread that mimicked the string Ruben had drawn around the sun on the cover. The Washington Post called it “paper and ink as performance art." -- publsiher's website https://visionaireworld.com
