Description
Mixed Media began as the student publication Your Name Here. The October 21, 1996 issue includes articles on the discovery of a fifteenth century Florentine fresco in a closet in the Waterman Gallery, a student trip to Washington DC to help with the AIDS Memorial Quilt, community service at RISD, issues with breakfast food, security at 161 South Main Street, statistics on the environment and television, upcoming screenings by the RISD Film Society, along with the comic "Progress" by Kyle Hildreth, the satirical article about a Bert and Ernie Presidential run, event notices, and other announcements.
