Description
Blockprint was a student newspaper published throughout the 1950s-60s. The May 19th issue highlights Commencement speaker Roger Stevens, promotions of four faculty, professor Richard Merkin's paintings on view at World's Fair, designer William Katavolos lecture, discussion of Cuban Revolution by Yale Graduates to be hosted at RISD, European Honors Program reports from Italy, film review of "The Glass Eye", Governor Chafee visits "ART: USA" Johnson Collection exhibition and names May 1st ART USA day in Rhode Island, and some opinion pieces.
