Description
Blockprint was a student newspaper published throughout the 1950s-60s. The Jan. 20th issue highlghts an upcoming folk concert at RISD with Bobbi Hill, the appointment of visiting landscape design lecturer, James L. Skerritt, Jr., President Bush-Brown announces no tuition increases for following year, a review of the Dore Ashton lecture, film reviews of "Father Goose", "Hidden Fortress", "Sweet and Sour", Rattle of a Simple Man", Snack Bar Comittee issues, Take-A-Break Queen Contest, Call for Writings for Blockprint Literary Supplement, Film Society to screen "The Theif of Bagdad" and "Tarzan, The Ape Man", seminar in Art Education now offered, along with other opinion pieces, editorials, and creative writing.
