Description

Blockprint was a student newspaper published throughout the 1950s-60s. The May 17, 1961 issue features articles on the junior class officer election, the approval of the World Affairs Society and a screening of controversial film "Operation Abolition," the student council, commencement speaker Dr. Harold Taylor, an exhibit on European typography, Brown folk singers, the apparel design's Collection '61, a student's adventures in Sicily, student life, student club news, and various lectures and events around campus; editorials, opinion columns, and creative writing.
