Description
Blockprint was a student newspaper published throughout the 1950s-60s. The October 24, 1960 issue features articles on convocation, student council, a George Sullivan lecture to the Architectural Society, the European Honors Program, the RISD Museum exhibit on Portuguese art, the end of segregation at lunch counters in variety stores, a blood drive, concerts by Count Basie and Stan Kenton at the Rhode Island Arena, a new dark room on campus, student life, student club news, and various lectures and events around campus; student editorials and creative writing.
