Description

This is the second edition of a zine called "Mine" which was an anthology of abortion stories. This edition has 14 stories. Stories include a home abortion via RU 486, a person who lost her fertility from an illegal abortion in the 1960s, and a woman I met at a Take Back the Night Rally who had an abortion after she was raped. The stories reflect a small variety of situations that people may be in when they become accidentally pregnant. The first zine was called "Mine An Anthology Of Women's Choices." The purpose of these zines was to de-stigmatize the experience, and create a community where people were supported in their choices. Over two thousand copies of these zines were distributed at cost around North America.
