Mixed Media began as the student publication Your Name Here. The November 22, 2003 issue includes articles on Student Alliance updates, negative opinions of the RISD Museum, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the perspective of a recent RISD graduate who is unemployed, RISD's laptop program, art supply stores in Providence, performances at AS220, and film reviews, along with the comics "Traumatizing Event" by Cathy Sherwod and "Untitled" by Andrew Kaiko, student creative work, an advice column, event notices, and other announcements.
