Mixed Media began as the student publication Your Name Here. The September 22, 2006 issue includes articles on departmental isolation at RISD, a Balls winning streak, visiting artist Laurie Rosenwald, a profile of a ceramics student, a planned public art piece for Boston's South Station, and ethnic hair products, along with student creative work, event notices, and other announcements.
