Description
Blockprint was a student newspaper published throughout the 1950s-60s. The November 7, 1966 issue features articles on how to be cool at RISD, the formation of student group the Illustration Society, a lecture on ending the Vietnam War, a reprint of a Timothy Leary piece on acid, a RISD student concert of "Indian-like" music, a RISD football game, and a performance by Ecuadorean cellist Carlos Bonilla, along with other opinion pieces, editorials, and creative writing.
