Sandi Simcha DuBowski is an American director and producer, best known for his work on the intersection of LGBTQ people and their religion. DuBowski directed the 2001 documentary Trembling Before G-d and is the producer of Parvez Sharma’s documentary A Jihad for Love. Join ISE for a live discussion with DuBowski about where LGBTQ people and religion meet. DuBowski’s film, Trembling Before G-d will be screened on campus prior to this event, held in the Chace Center Auditorium.
