Student Narrative
This book is part of a study about the effects of exhaustion, specifically in neighborhoods that have experienced communal trauma, on mainly queer relationships. To find out how this exhaustion affects intimacy, so that we will know more about, how the lack of intimate connection affects a specific community. This book format is integral to its reading. The cover acts as a "failure" to control, or keep together the accordion fold is about 6ft long. This "failure" is part of a queer optic. The images can be re-contextualized and sequenced based on the folding. This reading speaks to the affect of violence on this community.
