Description
A jitterbug that transforms from an octahedron, through an icosahedron, and into a cuboctahedron. Dennis Dreher’s dihedral hinges makes the controlled pattern of transformation possible. In a correspondence in the Arthur Lee Loeb papers (M1590) at Stanford University Libraries, Dreher described the model as the original prototype for the R. Buckminster Fuller's "Vector Equilibrium Duo".
