Loeb Design Science: 3D Models
Preview
Description
A jitterbug sculpture that transforms from an octahedron, through an icosahedron, and into a cuboctahedron. Dennis Dreher’s dihedral hinge makes the controlled pattern of transformation possible. In a correspondence, Dreher described the model as the original prototype for the R. Buckminster Fuller model, "Vector Equilibrium Duo".
