Description

Ten wooden triangles are held together in a knot, with no two triangles connected. The model is an example of a “polylink” or symmetrical linkage of regular polygons, and is described in Alan Holden’s 1983 book, "Orderly Tangles: Cloverleafs, Gordian Knots, and Polylinks”. It is believed that Holden sent this specific model as his “surrogate representative” to the 1984 Shaping Space Conference at Smith College.
