Description

Internal octahedron component of Polyhedral Arithmetic model.

The cube, tetrahedron, octahedron, and rhombic dodecahedron are among the most important polyhedra formed by atoms inside a crystal. Their volume relations are 3 ÷ 1 ÷ 4 ÷ 6. Polyhedral Arithmetic shows the way in which these fundamental building blocks of spatial structures can be added to, subtracted from, and transformed into each other.
