The collection comprises 412 structural and tensegrity 3D Models; 164 silkscreens from Holly Alderman’s Symmetry Portfolio; over 500 books from Dr. Loeb’s personal library; and Documents and ephemera relating to Loeb’s teaching.

The Arthur Design Science Teaching Collection and Archive contains 35 boxes of documents, articles, student assignments, photographs, slides, visual material, and ephemera used to teach courses in design science and synergetic geometry in the Visual and Environmental Studies Department at Harvard. Documents illustrate Loeb’s contributions to crystallography, his teaching assignments and methodologies, and relationships with notable figures like R. Buckminster Fuller, M.C. Escher, and Gyorgi Kepes.
