Abstract
Daniel Peltz, Associate Professor, FAV, was among six ACP Davis Fellows, who each spent eight months in AY 2013–14 developing a research question, designing inquiries, applying them in their spring courses, and assessing student learning outcomes. Daniel’s project focused on assessing how well two of his assignments functioned to “distribute leadership” in a collective learning environment and whether experiencing such distributed leadership would encourage students to reflect on hierarchy and continue working in a similarly democratic way.
