Color Lab welcomes BLUE
In celebration of the new 2024 academic year, Fleet Library’s Graham Visual + Material Resources Center invites you to explore RISD Blue through a selection of similarly hued samples from the Materials Collection.BLUE is all around you. It has the shortest wavelength and scatters the most easily.
GAZE upon blues of all varieties in these displays of glass, metal, polymer, and textile knowing that sunlight, artificial light, and atmosphere will cause variation in that scattering.
EXPLORE the Material Order database for more blue samples in the materials collection that you can visit, browse, and borrow in room 204 on the second floor of Fleet Library at 15 Westminster St.
