The Calendar of Art Events includes informational essays about art in general and Rhode Island artists. Published monthly/bimonthly, the publication lists art exhibits, lectures, fashion, art tool kits, gardening, and concerts occurring throughout Rhode Island.

    The Calendar of Art Events of March 1934 includes an essay by L.Earle Rowe about the Modern Spanish exhibition that took place at the RISD Museum. The times, topics and locations of art exhibitions, concerts, plays and radio programs that took place in Rhode Island were listed. Art exhibitions at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the RCA building at Rockefeller Center in New York, the Gallery of Fine Arts in New Haven and museums in Massachusetts were also included.

Art exhibitions at the Museum of Modern Art, the Metropolitan Museum in New York and museum in Massachusetts and Connecticut are also included.
