Description
The Calendar of Art Events of January 1941 includes an article about the Varnum House in East Greenwich, RI. This is an historical house that was owned at one time by General Varnum, a Revolutionary War hero. Also included are plays, concerts, art exhibitions and lectures that took place in Rhode Island. Art exhibitions that took place in Massachusetts and at the Metropolitan Museum and Cloisters in New York are also included.
