Description
The Calendar of Art Events of December 1939 includes an article called Legends of Christmas in Art. This refers to a French Gothic diptych in ivory which was on display on the main floor of the RISD Museum. Plays, concerts and art exhibitions are also included. Art exhibitions in Massachusetts and the Museum of Modern Art in New York are also mentioned.
