Description
The Calendar of Art Events of November 1939 includes an article called Contemporary American Painting Exhibition written by John Frazier. This was about an event at the RISD Museum for artists to show some of their paintings. Also included are plays, concerts and art exhibitions in Providence. Art exhibitions in Massachusetts, the Yale Art Gallery in New Haven and the Museum of Modern Art in New York are also mentioned.
