This book [weaves] together historical archives, photographs, and original new artwork that creatively interprets the crucial role that women have played in working and stewarding land in [Chicago]." -- Accordion fold with four signature sewn into each of the four folds. Library has copy no. 18 of the deluxe. Deluxe edition includes two sets of postcards, signed paper reproduction of back cover illustration (21 x 13 cm), and cardboard poster tube with two rolled posters.
