The book was designed by Nancy Skolos (Dean of Architecture and Design, RISD 2015-2017) and Scarlett Xin Meng (graduate student in Graphic Design, RISD). True to its subject matter, the book itself is an object of aesthetic appreciation and has been awarded with two design awards: The Student Notable Visual Communication Award Core77 Design Award 2016 and the 2016 STA 100 award for Book Design.
