Description
The Calendar of Art Events of May 1940 includes an article about the Rhode Island Music Project (WPA) and its activities throughout Rhode Island. Plays, concerts and art exhibitions that took place in Rhode Island also were included. Art exhibitions in Massachusetts and the Museum of Modern Art in New York were also mentioned.
