Description
The Calendar of Art Events of April 1940 includes an article about "Hurricane, an Orchestral Drama" a dance and musical piece. This was inspired by the Hurricane of 1938. Art exhibitions, plays and concerts that took place in Providence were mentioned. Also art exhibitions in Massachusetts and the Museum of Modern Art in New York were included.
