Description
Mixed Media began as the student publication Your Name Here. The March 15, 2002 issue includes articles on American values, upcoming shows at Providence's Living Room club, a Michael Moore lecture at the Avon Cinema, the American Film Institute's Conservatory, a RISD student who drums for the band "Live Jazz," an encounter with a Guatemalan hotel worker, the Folsom Street Fair in San Francisco, film reviews, and a sneaker store called "Expressions," along with the comics [Untitled] by Joe Tesauro, "Meow" by Maris, "Emo for Boys" and "Emo for Girls" by Rob Dobi, "Ghost Frog" by Evan Larson, "CLIFF" by Adam Sacks, "Captain Obvious" by Paolo Rivera, an LA comic by Patrick Theaker, "Salsa! by Andrew Kaiko, "The Adventures of Indifferent Girl" by Joseph Quinones, event notices, and other announcements.
