Description
Mixed Media began as the student publication Your Name Here. The September 27, 2000 issue includes messages from Mixed Media editors; letters to the editor on sexual misconduct at RISD, the upcoming national election, and the technology fee at RISD; articles on adminstrative offices at RISD, Sister Helen Prejean's work with Death Row inmates, RISD Film Society, an AS220 exhibit on subcultural artists, Trinity Rep's production of "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?", a faculty/student experience in Prague, Gilbert Stuart, UK pranksters "Dean and Nigel,"; along with a sex column by Mistress Dani; the comics "Lucky Goose," "How I Got this Job" by Hal "That Comics Guy" Forsstrom; event notices and other announcements.
