Description
Mixed Media began as the student publication Your Name Here. The May 2, 1999 issue includes a letter to the editor from the former editor of Mixed Media about the complaints, a response to that letter, articles on the sexual harassment occured between two RISD employees, the sexual harassment problem at RISD and students' opinions on it, gun control in response to the Columbine School shooting, and a lack of facilities in the Illustration department, along with the comics "Ben" by Frenzer and "Die" by Paul, poems, event notices, and other announcements. The issue also includes the paper doll series, featuring Dean of Liberal Arts Baruch Kirschenbaum.
