Spectrum was a publication released in the early 1950s by the undergraduate students at Rhode Island School of Design. This issue from 1963 includes essays by RISD students that examine theories on art and artists, presented alongside an excerpt from Paul Klee's "The Concept of Analysis." The issue also contains artwork by RISD students, and inspirational quotations about creativity. Contributors include Asher Derman, Robert Gotsch, Loren Kerst, Bill Foster, Bix Lye, Henry Adler, Ilse Buchert, Carolyn Voigt, Ann Armstrong Meyer, James Baker, and Norman Laliberte.
