Description
The RISD Rag was a student publication released in the spring of 1972, first on a monthly basis and later on a bi-weekly basis. The issue of April 1, 1972 includes articles on the organization VISTA recruiting architecture students to their programs, a new RISD drive to repair damage in Vietnam following the US withdrawal, class pre-registration, the distribution of student activity funds, a push to involve RISD students in a natural food co-op, Earth Day, RISD students exhibiting at the Smithsonian, apathy at RISD, and an advertisement for students to sell their wares at The Village Crafts Shop in Lincoln, Rhode Island.
