Description
RISD press was a student newspaper published weekly in the early 1970s, a self-described attempt at consolidating all the information outlets of the school, including the previous student newspaper, Montage. The issue of October 28, 1977 includes articles on the Student Board, faculty meetings with union representatives, peer counseling sessions, a freshman field trip to Boston, the film "Croce di Ferro," the film "Running Fence," a new law aimed at California art dealers, the Nads, and meeting of the "Redheads Are Special People" club, along with a comic by Doug Allen and Bill Greenberg, Halloween-themed illustrations, event notices, and other announcements.
