Description
RISD press was a student newspaper published weekly in the early 1970s, a self-described attempt at consolidating all the information outlets of the school, including the previous student newspaper, Montage. The issue of November 12, 1976 includes articles on RISD Provost Jack Stewart, the Nads, a freshman field trip to Boston, conflicts between students and the administration, the European Honors Program, Armistice Day, sculptor Italo Scanga, the painting club, a student board meeting, along with the "Tell It to the Tipster" column, event notices, and other announcements.
