Description
Blockprint was a student magazine published throughout the 1950s-60s. The October 3, 1955 issue features articles on the Museum of Modern Art purchasing a RISD student's work for their collection, the Student Council budget, a lecture on jazz by Boston priest Father Norman J. O'Conner, the start of Junior School classes, an Austrian sculptor named Erwin Hauer studyinga at RISD, RISD's purchase of 225 Benefit St., a new RISD Museum exhibition "Graphic Outlook," the increasing cost of college, and other events and notices.
