Description
RISD Voice was a long-running student newspaper that ran through the 1980s. This issue, dated February 10, 1989, includes articles on art world news including the death of Salvador Dali, a female RISD student who faced sexism when applying to drive the RISD shuttle, a proposed boycott of Nestle and American Home products, spring registration, a lecture on rape, a sexual harassment support group, the resignation of a RISD Voice editor, burns when creating art, a new RISD/Brown exhibition "Art Against Racism," and selecting new speakers for the Arts and Humanities Lecture Series, along with editorials, comics, notices, and advertisements.
