Blockprint was a student newspaper published throughout the 1950s-60s. The Oct. 2nd issue highlights new appointment of RISD Development Director, Roy D. Welch Jr.; Fine Arts Society reactivated; New faculty appointments, "Painting and Construction of the 1960's" exhibition at RISD Museum, Museum Membership Drive, frustration over media portrayal of RISD students' attire and Convocation, on-campus employment, film screening schedule, Danforth Fellowship, Yacht Club cup, critique of RISD President Dr. Bush-Brown's remarks from Convocation, Museum screens "Panda and the Magic Serpent," editorials, opinion columns, and creative writing.
