Description
RISD Voice was a long-running student newspaper that ran through the 1980s. This issue, dated October 12, 1988, includes articles on a dispute with campus security, efforts by the Brown Animal Rights Coalition, the President of the Student Board, the opening of the Catanzaro Student Center, the US presidential election of 1988, the freshman event "Playfair," the Faulty Biennial, "The Dogs" and "The Cats" RISD baseball teams, History Professor Scott Cook, Student Board treasurer Tom Albrecht, issues with word processors, a blood drive, the President's Ball, and the European Honors Program, along with editorials, comics, notices, and advertisements.
