Description

Spectrum was a publication released in the early 1950s by the undergraduate students at Rhode Island School of Design. The "Synthesis" issue from February 1957 includes essays by RISD students and faculty that examine theories on art and artists, along with artwork by RISD students and faculty, and inspirational quotations about creativity. Contributors include J. Carol Fulkerson, Robert Hamilton, Roland Belhumeur, Carol Monosson, Herbert Fink, Edward Hill, Vanghel Lupu, Ernest Kirwin, Gilbert Franklin, Robin Koch, Richard Shira, and Edith Stewart.
